What BoatDock is

BoatDock stores the float plans you enter and shows them, with a status worked out from the times you set, to anyone you give a link to. It does not monitor your boat, does not contact anyone, does not call rescue services, and is not a Coast Guard service. Whether help is called depends on the person you gave the link to.

Your responsibilities

• Give the shore link to a reliable person and make sure they know what to do if you are overdue.
• Keep the plan accurate, move the due-back time if you are delayed, and check in when you return.
• Only add other people's details with their agreement.
• Boat safely and carry the equipment the law requires. BoatDock's gear checklist records what you carry; it is not a legal checklist.

No guarantee

BoatDock is provided as is. The site, your phone, or the network can be unavailable when you need them. Do not rely on BoatDock as your only safety measure. To the extent the law allows, WeldonPC is not liable for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, BoatDock.

BoatDock Plus

Plus is $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year, renewing until you cancel in PayPal; cancelling keeps Plus to the end of the paid period. During the preview there is no checkout and Plus features are free for everyone.

Your dock link

Anyone with your dock link can read and change your dock. Keep it private. We cannot recover a lost dock link, because we do not store it.

Changes

We may change these terms; the date above shows when. Price changes for Plus will be shown on the pricing page before they apply to a renewal.
