About BoatDock

BoatDock is a small, self-running web tool for recreational boaters: a float plan you can hand to someone ashore as a link, with a clear check-in and a clear OVERDUE state.

It is independent. It is not part of, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Coast Guard or the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The float plan fields follow the Auxiliary's public float plan form so the information is what a rescuer expects.

BoatDock is built and run by WeldonPC, a computer services company in Ohio. Its public pages carry one banner ad from AdEngine, the small ad network run by WeldonPC, which sets no cookies (see Privacy); your dock, trips and shore links carry none.
